RPG Vault asks the devs what their favorite combination of skills are when playing the game. Read their responses.

There is a new book this week, The Cake and The Diamond, that has been added to the fiction section. Reading this book in the game improves your Alchemy skill. We have also added the final group of skills, Magic Arts, to the Codex.

We've released details on what you'll find in the Collector's Edition of Morrowind. Read all about it in the latest addition to the Team section of the Codex. We have also added the second set of skills to the Codex. This time we take a look at Stealth skills. Finally, we've added a new book to the Fiction Section, entitled Lord Jornibret’s Last Dance.

In preparation for the January issue of their magazine, which features a cover story on Morrowind, Computer Games Online has posted the mage and thief skills you'll find in Morrowind. You can see the full list here. Be looking for the January issue to hit streets sometime the week of Dec. 10.

For those of you that can't wait to get your hands on the TES Construction Set, you'll be glad to know that there are a couple of articles out by folks who tell you about their hands-on experiences. PC Gamer Editor-in-Chief, Rob Smith, has a column in the Holiday Issue of their magazine. Also, the current issue of Dragon Magazine (#290) features a two page article by Johnny Wilson, who shares his thoughts after playing with the TES Construction Set as well. Look for both mags on newsstands now.

We're happy to welcome Euro-Morrowind to the ever growing family of Morrowind fan sites. The good people at Euro-Morrowind have posted a Q&A with Todd Howard in celebration of their launch.

The fourth installment of the Video Tour is now available. This newest movie gives a brief glimpse at the world that you will be exploring in the game. Also, The German fan site, Morrowind Guide, has posted a Q&A that covers a variety of topics. If you don't speak (or read) German, you can find the English version on Morrowind Summit:

A new fan site has been launched, called Morrowind After Dark, that plans to focus on the portion of Morrowind related to vampires. As part of their launch, they've posted a Q&A session with designer Mark Nelson that discusses, what else, vampires.

Jeremy Soule, the award-winning composer who has been called “gaming’s greatest musician,” will create the soundtrack for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Read full press release here.

We've released the second video tutorial on the TES Construction Set. In this video, Todd demonstrates how easy it is to add and modify characters and creatures. The video is available in Bink and WMV formats from our Downloads section. If you get an error message, the server is probably overloaded with requests. Try one of the mirrored sites listed as an alternative.

Gamespy has just released a Developer Profile article on several of the Morrowind team members.

We have just released the second Morrowind movie. This movie focuses on some of the detail and interactivity in the game. And, we're happy to announce the return of one of our fan sites, Destination: Morrowind. Stop by to check out the new screenshot Kathode has up at his new URL.

We've put out an official announcement on the Morrowind release date for both the PC and Xbox versions. In addition, we have added the first of our Video Tour movies to the Media section. Narrated by Todd Howard, this first video gives you a brief glimpse at some of the technology used in Morrowind. Finally, a Dreugh wallpaper has also been added to the Downloads section.

The latest Q&A (#9) with RPG Vault has been posted. In a change of format, this Q&A asks developer team members what characters they'll be playing when they play Morrowind for the first time. There is also a new Morrowind preview on Planet Xbox.

We've updated our Codex by adding the first group of skills to the Skills section. Find out more about the nine combat skills in Morrowind. In addition, there is a new creature wallpaper in our Downloads section that showcases the Netch.
